Meet The Photographer - Holly Roa

Holly is a lover of animals, good food, travel, and of course, art. She has been involved in the photography industry since 2010.

After graduating from Seattle Central Creative Academy’s commercial photography program in 2016, Holly has worn many hats within the commercial photography industry. These include photography, assisting on photoshoots, retouching, working as a digital tech, and writing about photography. 

Recent photography clients include Brew Dr. Kombucha for Milli Agency, code.org, and SOG Knives. Jobs assisting other photographers have included work for Amazon, Seattle Met Magazine, Workforce Magazine, Sous Vide Supreme, Natrel Milk, and GBK Realtors. Retouching clients include Microsoft for Belief Agency, SanMar, SOG Knives and Julep Beauty.

Holly also wrote for SLR Lounge, a well-established and highly regarded photography blog, for two years. In that time, she wrote educational tutorials on photography techniques, covered photography news events, wrote opinion editorials on industry happenings, and reviewed gear from major brands like Canon, Fujifilm, Sigma, and Tamron.
